2013 ongoing

Ideas of Home are comforting. We all want to come back home. Homes are the shelters we long for, hide out in, share, miss when they're gone. Homes are built, restructured, abandoned, ignored. When we're forced from homes, they are taken over by others or fall into ruins. I think about how one group of wanderers might take over shelters abandoned by others. I think of the Great Coral Reef as the staggering superhome of the planet and how even the reefs are always changing. This is the beginning of an ongoing series that may or may not be part of a collaboration with the Vermont artist Janet Fredericks.
